Hi all, sorry I missed my usual Saturday blog last week but I was on my way to Japan.

My daughter is due to study Japanese at university this fall so it seemed the perfect reason to go. Four days in Tokyo  followed by a nine night cruise around the northern islands.

It was great for me as I based book 3 – Shield Maiden there, and I was dying to sample it myself. It didn’t disappoint. The people are lovely and curtious. The cuisine delicious and the views breathtaking. I totally recommend it. The home of Isla Snow x
